And it’s not just games, but most content on the internet is also capped at 30-60 fps. Your display won't increase the fps of YouTube videos.

Another thing to note is that the higher the refresh rate of the display, the higher the power consumption. So a normal 144Hz display will take less power and save battery life. It is extremely convenient since the 300Hz display will be rendering things at 60fps or 120fps anyway.

So spending money on a 300Hz screen when neither your machine nor the content is made for it is stupid and you should avoid it unless of course, you are into that stuff.

Hating On Brands 

You must have had some bad experience with some brand in the past with some component failing and making you buy a new laptop altogether. Everyone has had one. But that should not stop you from checking out new products from the same brand in the future. Here is an explanation.
