A bigger screen is always preferred over smaller screens for movies, presentations, gaming, binge-watching, and editing. Sometimes it becomes a need to use the app or features of a phone on a bigger screen.
It is always preferred to play games on big screens with a more prominent display, and PC doesn’t allow us the features as our smartphones do.
Then, how to use apps on a bigger screen? Well, you can always go for the option of casting. You can easily cast your Windows or Android display to Windows using the steps given below.

There are two ways to cast your Windows or Android display to a Windows:

For wifi casting, you can use these following methods
Connect
For this method, you require a PC that supports Windows 10 Anniversary update and an Android device that supports Miracast.
To do this, you need to follow two significant steps: turn on your PC’S mirror casting.
To cast your Windows or Android display to Windows, you have to first convert your PC into a miracast receiver, which helps you do the casting without using any HDMI cables.

- 1Go to the search option in Windows 10 and type the word “Connect. “You will see a Connect app.
- 2Open the connect app, and the screen will pop up, showcasing the message that your “Desktop is ready for you to connect wirelessly.”
- 3Go to the settings of your phone, move to display, and click on the cast option.
- 4Now, in the menu bar, look for the option “Enable wireless display” and enable it.
- 5After doing this, you will see specific options for casting, search for your PC’S name. Your PC’S name will come here if you have already enabled the casting option in PC through Connect ( as mentioned in the previous step).
- 6Now, tap your PC’S name in the display, and it will immediately start casting the Android display to your Windows PC.

The benefit of Let’s view is that you can cast both your Android phones and iOs phones. After downloading it on devices, you have to open the app, and it will automatically detect the server on your PC.
Just allow the connection, and you are good to cast your Windows or Android display to a Window.

TeamViewer Host
The benefit of TeamViewer host is that you can cast your Windows or Android display to a Window without downloading the app on your PC. You can simply download it on your phone and work from the browser on your PC.
It works with the internet, and you need not set up a USB for this. Follow the following steps to cast your phone on PC through this method.
- 1Install the TeamViewer Host on your phone from Play Store.
- 2Create an ID in the app, you can either sign up (make a new Id), or you can log in (if you already have your Id on TeamViewer Host).
- 3After you have logged in on your phone, go to login.teamviewer.com on your PC and sign in with the same account.
- 4You will see the option to connect with your phone on your PC. Just click it, and you can cast your Windows or Android display to a Window.
You have to make sure that both your phone and PC have an internet connection. TeamViewer Host is a straightforward app with less complicated procedures.
AirDroid
- 1Install the app on your Windows and your smartphones.
- 2Make an AirDroid account with the necessary details.
- 3Sign in the AirDroid app and add a device to your account.
This app will allow you to share files and take calls from your PC. The benefit of this app is that you can download it on both Windows and macOS.

For USB Casting, you can use these following methods
Strcpy
With Strcpy, you can cast your Android screen and control it as well. But, you have to remember that this app requires a USB connection with your PC. Follow the following steps to start casting on your PC.
- 1Install the ADB package on your Windows and extract the files to a convenient location on your PC.
- 2Make a new folder named ‘ADB.’
- 3Now, unzip all the elements present in the c:adb.
- 4Presently install the application Strcpy and unzip it.
- 5Move the extracted files in the same catalog where ADB is installed. Change the catalog to the ADB folder, i.e., c:adb in command prompt pop up.
- 6Now open settings, click on the phone, and click build number. Now click it seven times, it will show a screen saying that you are a new developer. Now move to Developer options in settings and scroll to USB debugging, turn USB debugging ON.
- 7Connect your Android gadget with your Windows PC and change the catalog to ‘adb’ by using the ‘cd’ command and then type the following command ‘adb devices.’
After all these steps, your Android screen will start casting on your PC. This app is an advantage as it runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux, low latency. But, it requires a lot of steps and needs focus to cast the device through this method. The steps can be complicated for a non-technical person.
Vysor
This app allows you to set up quickly but takes the charges for the same. It is a paid app. Follow the steps to enjoy the casting on your Windows.
- 1Install the Vysor app on your PC.
- 2Take a USB cable and connect your smartphone with Windows.
- 3Make sure you have allowed USB debugging on your phone.
- 4Now go to the Vysor Installer file on Windows.
- 5Vysor will detect your device; you can search for it and tap on it.
Your device is ready to cast on your PC screen, and you can enjoy games and movies on bigger screens.
Mobizen
It is also a paid app. You can follow these steps to cast your Windows or Android display to a Window.
- 1Install the Mobizen mirroring app on your mobile phone and PC.
- 2Go to USB debugging on developer options and turn it on.
- 3Start the mirroring software on your PC and choose between USB / Wireless.
- 4Click on “Start now” in the Window to start the process. Your phone screen is now ready to cast on your PC.
Therefore, there are two methods to cast your Windows or Android display to a Window; you can either cast it through the internet or cast it using USB.
