What cause rickets?

Rickets is the softening and weakening of bones in children, usually because of an extreme and prolonged vitamin D deficiency. Rare inherited problems also can cause rickets

To prevent rickets, make sure you and your family are getting enough to eat fatty fish such as salmon and tuna, fish oil and egg yolks. Exposure to sunlight is the best source of vitamin D.

It is important that you visit your doctor immediately if you are experiencing bone pain or muscle weakness. If ignored, your condition will not only result in great discomfort and agony but also to long-term health dilemmas.
