"The Batman" director Matt Reeves on Thursday released a deleted scene from his superhero post
in which Robert Pattinson's Caped Crusader is against his classic enemy, the Joker, played by Barry Keoghan.
The scene is available after visiting a website that mimics a word puzzle created by Riddler (Paul Dano) in the film.
As Reeves explained to the Variety in an February interview, the scene follows Batman's discovery
That Riddler had assassinated Gotham City Police Commissioner, with another of his mysterious remarks targeting Batman
Batman, worried that Riddler
is interested in him, decides to investigate what Riddler is called.
Reeves said. The filmmakers like the idea of suggesting to viewers that Gotham is full of bad guys on the side of the story
and that Keoghan's Joker was one of the first enemies to conquer Batman.
